Ember Daily Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Ember Daily ("App," "we," "our," or "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Ember Daily connects to your authorized X account and surfaces one daily bookmark experience in the app and widget. Some features may require an active subscription.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must comply with applicable laws and platform terms (including Apple App Store terms and X platform terms).
- You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple account and connected X account.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your connected accounts.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
- Premium access may be offered through auto-renewing subscriptions managed by Apple In-App Purchases.
- Billing, renewal, trial eligibility, and cancellation are handled by Apple based on your App Store account settings.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
- We use RevenueCat to validate and manage entitlement state across app sessions.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App in ways that violate laws or third-party rights.
- Attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer, disrupt, or abuse the App.
- Use automation or methods that interfere with normal service operation.
5. Third-Party Services
The App depends on third-party services, including X, Apple, and RevenueCat. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or service limitations imposed by third parties.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Ember Daily and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal use.
7. Content and Data
Bookmark content displayed by the App is sourced from your X account. You are responsible for your use of that content and your compliance with X terms.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ember Daily is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the App.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons. You may stop using the App at any time and can disconnect accounts/delete local app data from within the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
